LRT 1 Extension (CAVITE)

This will easily connect cavitenos going to national capital region. This will cut the traveling time from bacoor to baclaran by 25 minutes from up to 2 hours currently.

The current LRT Line 1 will be extended starting from its existing Baclaran Station to the future Niyog Station in Bacoor, Cavite which is approximately 11.7 kilometers. Of this length, 10.5 kilometers will be elevated and 1.2 kilometers will be at-grade. The whole stretch of the integrated LRT 1 will have a total length of approximately 32.4 kilometers and will be operated and maintained by the private proponent.

The private partner will undertake the design, construction, and financing of the Cavite Extension as well as the operation and maintenance of the integrated system upon completion of the project. The concessionaire will also undertake future system maintenance and upgrades as well as permitted commercial development.

The Line 1 South Extension Project will consist of the following eight stations:

• Redemptorist – Parañaque
• Manila International Airport – Parañaque
• Asia World – Parañaque
• Ninoy Aquino – Parañaque
• Dr. Santos – Parañaque
• Las Piñas – Las Piñas
• Zapote – along the boundaries of Bacoor and Las Piñas
• Niog – Bacoor

LRT 1 EXTENSION is planned to extend up to Dasmarinas Cavite. The list below is the proposed 6 stations for extension on phase 2.
The 6 stations of the proposed South Extension Phase 2 are composed of:

• Tirona – Bacoor
• Imus – Imus
• Daang Hari – Imus
• Salitran – Dasmariñas
• Congressional Avenue – Dasmariñas
• Governor's Drive – Dasmariñas
